Ja, we zijn weer lekker bezig lately. Het regent miksen! De ene keer gevuld met (relatieve) oldies en/of bewezen successen, de andere keer voorzien van de nodige newbies en noviteiten; zoals dat ook ondergaand het geval is. DJ Camping's GLOW! bevat namelijk overwegend vers spul. Zo hoor je hier het werk van een aantal interessante rookies, waaronder Delphic, The Big Crunch Theory en Ettiem.

...take off en touchdown tegelijk!...

Aan de andere kant brengt GLOW! u nadrukkelijk óók nieuws uit meer bekende hoek, zoals recente releases van Fever Ray, Tiefschwarz, Trentemoeller en - als absolute hoogvliegers - de pasgeboren puppies van Underworld en Chemical Brothers. En vooral dát tweetal (achter elkaar gemikst na ongeveer 30 minuten) steelt de show. Want dan is het total chaos; take off en touchdown tegelijk! Voor de rest is het aanbod van deze miks meerendeels mellow, als een soort soundtrack voor zwoele zomernachten. Vandaar die naam: GLOW! Gloeit u met ons mee?

Hoewel wij al dat geblog en gemiks primair als persoonlijke therapie slash hobby hanteren, kunnen we niet ontkennen dat we toch altijd weer vrolijk worden als er iemand ons zo af en toe wat feedback verschaft. En als we het over feedback hebbon, moet Broeder-B uiteraard óók worden opgevoerd. Want als iemand snapt dat je een poor old lonely DJ om de zoveel tijd efkes moet kietelen dan is hij het wel.
